One of the best things about the web is that all the hard work you would normally do yourself researching gear, talents, and dps, has been done for you.  At least that’s the case most of the time.

That was pre-Wrath of the Lich King.  Now, all of the elemental shaman sites, blogs, etc that I used to visit are useless.  No updates, no new posts…  it’s like… well, it’s a lot like Shattrath on release day… dead.

My shaman just hit 75 yesterday, and I’m starting to pay attention to quest rewards and dungeon drops, but what I really need is some good information and discussion on the role of the elemental shaman in raids, gear and talent discussions, etc.

Of COURSE I could turn this blog into a massive reference blog for the other elemental shaman out there, but then… that would be too original.  I’d much rather make use of others’ hard work in keeping with the blog’s theme.

So… any and all of you out there who are listening, give me some good info on elemental shaman.  If you’ve got a great blog or know of an awesome discussion board, link me in the comments and I’ll add them to my links.  Thanks guys!

I don’t care who you are or what you believe in, this is funny.
Barack Obama, the Presidential Democrat Party candidate, is for banning all guns in America . He is considered by those who have dealt with him as a bit more than just a little self-righteous.

At a recent rural elementary school assembly in East Texas , he asked the audience for total quiet. Then, in the silence, he started to slowly clap his hands once every few seconds, holding the audience in total silence.

Then he said into the microphone, ‘Children, every time I clap my hands together, a child in America dies from gun violence.’

Then, little Richard Earl, with a proud East Texas drawl, pierced the quiet and said: ”Well, dumb-ass, stop clapping!’

Who doesn’t love Disney Pixar?  I have a friend, who, by the content of his emails alone, stands to be one of the biggest movie buffs I’ve ever known.  Needless to say, he is a man after my own heart, particularly when it comes to Disney.  Enjoy the trailer… another Pixar project at its finest!  I can’t wait!

Every day, I, like so many, receive hoards of forwarded emails, links, games, etcetera, in my in-box.  Much of the time, I give a quick glance at the subjects before I hit ‘delete’.  Lately, however, a few have caught my eye, and I have begun threatening friends and family that I’m going to blog them.  There isn’t so much a theme to this blog with regards to subject matter or content, except that I intend to highlight some thoughts of others every day, whether it be another blog, a random email, or a great forum post.  My ‘victims’, the friends, family and so on that feel compelled to send me random and silly stuff, will gain short and relatively quiet notariety here, and I hope that they all realize this is all in good fun.  No harm meant, no offense, only fun and humor.
